I’ve just finished to assemble this beautiful kit and first of all I want to thank Martin for this amazing design and Noch for making this project available as a kit. I am very glad with the result that I’ve got. There were a few mistakes in the manual sheet (mostly confuses between pillars N and H) therefore a lot of pillars don’t fit. Basically when the kit is assembled like it shown on the manual it looks ok but two lower loops are too high so electric locomotives with their pantographs raised can not pass under the upper stage. Also the angle of the left big curved slope was too sharp. I solved those issues by changing a pillars but I had to take pillars from another kit of Noch (laggies basic helix). So now the Martinstadt looks exactly like it shown on the basic picture and there are no issues on the test drive. But from another side my laggies kit is useless now. I believe I can talk to someone to get those pillars that I took from my second kit. By the way I can send the corrected version if needed. Thanks

I was most likely once of the first who got the new release of this product. The planned initially for November 2022 was postponed twice and officially it is not released yet!. The moment I got it I immediately started building it. in the box there were two booklets (English/German) with what i thought first the instructions for building up the model. Unfortunately i soon released that the books were describing another layout : "Andreastal". I was told that this was not a mistake and there is no instructions book specific to "Martinstadt". The kit included 9 sheets of paper with the track plan. These have to be laid out in the right order on the table and indicate the position of the pillars and the various segments. The various sheets have an overlap section but a perfect fit was not possible. In the kit there was a page listing all the pillars (marked on the track plan) and the consisting individual segments. After installing the pillars and i started adding the various plywood segments i saw that the height of two pillars was not right. Fortunately, I figured it out but I am still waiting for the missing segments in order to finish off the layout. Further in the assembly of the kit I saw that the curves are too sharp and they cannot accommodate long locs and/or wagons/cars. Furthermore the height between the lower and higher tracks is not big enough to allow the of e-locs and the catenary. This problem could be resolved by adjusting the height of the pillars but there are not enough segments to do this. How can I get extras? All in all I am happy with this product and I have the following suggestions/recommendations: 1. The track plan could have been printed on one piece of paper or if this is not possible make sure that the various parts fit accurately 2. detail instructions are needed 3. Track plan needs checking and adjustment (remove the errors) In my opinion a perfect fit, as it is shown in the various videos, is impossible but there is enough room to allow small adjstments.
